01 — When to call Daymark

Governance needs usually arise from a situation, not a service category.

01Additional capacity
“Our CFO is also our Company Secretary, and the board calendar isn't getting any lighter.”
We take a defined workstream, such as the AGM, a committee or the subsidiary portfolio, and run it to your standards. Your CFO or Company Secretary keeps the role and gets senior support where it is needed.
02Transaction
“A transaction is coming, and governance needs another senior pair of hands.”
We run the governance track: board and committee approvals, disclosure timing, and resolutions and minutes that hold up to scrutiny later.
03Interim
“We need someone who can work directly with the Chair from the first week.”
Senior cover for a vacancy, leave or a transition, from a listed-company practitioner who can get across the role quickly and work credibly with the board from the outset.
04Ongoing
“We need an experienced Company Secretary, but not another permanent senior hire.”
A named senior adviser for an agreed number of days each month, scaled up or down as the year requires.
05Governance uplift
“Our governance grew with the company. It hasn't kept pace with it.”
We review the calendar, charters, delegations and paper process, redesign them in plain terms, and put the changes in place with your team.
06Subsidiary
“Head office needs confidence in how the Australian board is run.”
Local directors' duties, entity compliance and board administration, reported to the group in the format it already uses.
02 — How we work with your team

Keep your function. Add the senior capability it needs, for as long as it needs it.
